Guidance
An environment must be secure and manageable for children to learn to feel good about themselves. Our staff practices positive methods of guidance that help the child learn to control, modify, change, and maintain desirable behaviour. There is zero tolerance for any staff action that would cause a child pain or humiliation.
Health
All policies regarding health and illness are based on Public Health (VIHA) practices, the ill child’s comfort and safety, the staff’s ability to care for and accommodate an ill child, and protection of the other children, staff, students, and parents.
Drop off & Pick up
Only authorized persons are permitted to pick the child up from the centre. We realize that evening pick-up can be stressful: too little time and many things to do. If your pick-up time is consistent we will try to have your child prepared to go.
Closures
We observe SD68 policy for snow/weather closures.
